The fault is most often caused by loose wiring connections, a damaged pressure hose, or a failing sensor.

It is not recommended to run the washer while this error is active. The pressure sensor is what tells the machine how much water is in the tub, and operating without a reliable water level reading can lead to overfilling, underfilling, or damage to the motor and pump components. The machine will typically stop the cycle and refuse to run until the fault is cleared.

A power reset by unplugging the washer for a few minutes may temporarily clear the error code, but it will return if the underlying problem is not corrected.
