Cold water problem

Cold water problem - water below 90°F is being detected at the temperature sensor or disappearing from the inlet valve.

Check with the consumer to make sure the inlet water temperature is near 120°F. If necessary suggest that the kitchen faucet be started before the cycle to get hotter water to the dishwasher from the start.

From Tech Sheet W15355504, p.36:

1.Check with the consumer to make sure the inlet water temperature is near 120°F. If necessary suggest that the kitchen faucet be started before the cycle to get hotter water to the dishwasher from the start.

2.Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at the sensor body. Expected: 10 kΩ to 12 kΩ at 77°F (25°C).

3.Check the sensor harness for opens and shorts. Back-probe the sensor pins at the control board connector; a reading outside 5 kΩ to 50 kΩ indicates a failed sensor.
