Samsung Washer Error Code 11E

The 11E code means the washer detected an abnormal water leak condition. During the wash or rinse cycle, the control board monitored the water level and found it had dropped below the programmed Reset Water Level. The machine stops the cycle to prevent further issues. This can be caused by an actual leak or by a faulty pressure sensor giving incorrect readings.

Start by resetting the power and checking around and under the machine for visible water or moisture. Inspect the door boot seal for tears, check all hose connections for looseness, and examine the drain pump area for drips. If no leak is found, inspect the pressure sensor air hose for kinks or blockages, and consider testing the pressure sensor itself. Replacing any damaged components found during inspection should resolve the error.

Repair costs vary depending on the cause. If the fix is simply reseating a hose or clearing a blocked pressure sensor air hose, costs may be minimal beyond your time. Replacing a door boot seal typically ranges from around $50 to $150 in parts plus labor if a technician is hired. A pressure sensor or pump replacement can bring total repair costs to the range of $100 to $300 or more depending on your location and service rates.

A power reset is the recommended first step and can clear the code if it was triggered by a temporary sensor fluctuation. Turn the washer off using the power switch, wait a moment, and restart the cycle. If the 11E code returns after the reset, the underlying cause needs to be diagnosed and repaired before the error will stay cleared.

It is not recommended to continue running the washer while the 11E error is active. If the code is caused by an actual water leak, continuing to run the machine risks water damage to your floor, cabinetry, or the washer itself.
