DC6 on a Samsung washer means the Auto Open Door feature is not working properly. This feature is intended to automatically unlatch the door at the end of a wash cycle. The error signals that the washer attempted the automatic door release but was unable to complete it. Turning off the washer will manually release the door lock so you can open it immediately.

Powering off the washer will release the door lock so you can open the door, but it will not permanently clear the DC6 error if the underlying cause is still present. If SmartThings Lock or Smart Control settings are responsible, disabling them in the app is required to prevent the code from returning. A simple power reset without addressing the root cause will likely result in the error appearing again.
