E201 indicates that the temperature sensor for Cavity 2, the warming drawer, has an open circuit and is not communicating with the control module. In response, the range shuts off heat to the warming drawer and runs the cooling fan at high speed. The code points to a disconnected sensor, broken wiring, or a failed sensor component. Resolving the fault requires inspecting the sensor connections and testing the sensor's resistance.

The warming drawer will not heat while E201 is active, so that cavity cannot be used safely for its intended purpose. The rest of the range may continue to function depending on the model, but it is advisable to resolve the fault promptly. Operating appliances with active sensor faults for extended periods is not recommended, as the root cause could worsen over time.
