The i41 code means the dishwasher's control board has lost the signal from the pressure sensor for more than one second. The pressure sensor monitors the water level inside the tub, and without its signal the machine cannot safely continue a wash cycle. The dishwasher will stop operation until the issue is resolved.

A reset may temporarily clear the code, but if the underlying cause such as a faulty sensor or damaged wire harness has not been addressed, the i41 error will return once the dishwasher attempts to run a cycle. A reset is useful for confirming whether the fault is intermittent, but it is not a permanent fix.

If the fix involves only reseating a connector or cleaning corroded terminals, there may be little to no parts cost involved, though a service call fee typically applies. Replacing a pressure sensor generally costs in the range of $20 to $80 for the part, plus labor. If the PCB is at fault, repair or replacement costs can range from $150 to $400 or more depending on the model and service provider.

Start by checking the wire harness that runs between the pressure sensor and the PCB, looking for loose connectors, broken wires, or corroded terminals. If the wiring is intact, test the pressure sensor itself and replace it if it is not functioning. If both components check out, the PCB may need to be evaluated by a technician.

It is not recommended to continue running the dishwasher while the i41 code is active. Without a functioning pressure sensor signal, the control board cannot accurately monitor water levels, which could lead to underfilling or overfilling during a cycle. The dishwasher should be inspected and repaired before regular use resumes.
