Frigidaire Dishwasher Error Code i41

The i41 code means the dishwasher's control board has lost the signal from the pressure sensor for more than one second. The pressure sensor tracks the water level in the tub and feeds that information to the board to manage the fill cycle. When the signal disappears entirely, the dishwasher halts operation and displays i41 to alert you to the problem. The fault is most often in the wiring harness or connector rather than the sensor itself.

Running the dishwasher with an active i41 code is not recommended. Without a functioning pressure sensor signal, the control board cannot accurately monitor the water level in the tub. This raises the risk of the dishwasher overfilling or running a cycle improperly, which could cause water damage or incomplete cleaning.

Repair costs vary depending on which component is at fault. If only a connector needs to be reseated or cleaned, there may be no parts cost at all. A replacement pressure sensor typically runs in the range of $20 to $60 in parts. If the PCB needs replacement, parts alone can range from $100 to $250 or more, and professional labor adds additional cost on top of that.

Start by unplugging the dishwasher and checking the wire harness that connects the pressure sensor to the PCB. Reseat both connectors and look for corroded, bent, or backed-out pins. If the connections look good, inspect the full length of the wiring for breaks or chafing. If the harness is intact, the pressure sensor or, less commonly, the PCB may need to be replaced.

A reset may temporarily clear the display, but the code will return if the underlying wiring or component fault is not corrected. Resetting does not repair a broken wire, corroded connector, or failed sensor. Use the reset only to confirm whether the fault is intermittent after you have inspected and repaired the suspected cause.
