When that threshold is not met, the board logs this code. The fault is most often caused by a wiring or connection problem rather than a completely failed pump.

It is not recommended to run the dishwasher while this code is active. The fault indicates the control board cannot confirm proper pump operation, which means the dishwasher may not complete a wash or drain cycle correctly. Running it in this state could leave standing water in the tub and may not resolve on its own without addressing the underlying wiring or pump issue.

Repair cost depends on which component is at fault. If only a connector needs reseating or cleaning, the cost is minimal. A replacement drain or wash pump motor typically runs in the range of $40 to $120 for the part, plus labor if a technician is involved. A replacement PCB is the most expensive outcome, generally ranging from $100 to $250 or more for the part alone.
