It is not recommended to continue running the dishwasher with an active i5F code. The fault indicates a problem with the drain pump motor circuit, which means the dishwasher may not drain properly. Continuing to run cycles with a non-functional drain system can lead to water pooling or potential overflow.

Repair costs depend on the root cause. If only a loose connector needs reseating, there may be no parts cost, but a diagnostic service call typically runs between $75 and $150.
