GE Washer Error Code Thermistor
Control cannot detect the ATC thermistor; ATC is disabled and defaults to pre-programmed fill temperature settings.
What the Thermistor error code actually means
Your GE washer has lost contact with the sensor that monitors water temperature, so it can no longer automatically adjust the hot and cold water mix to reach the right temperature. The washer will still run, but it will use a fixed water temperature instead of the one you selected. A technician will need to test the sensor and the wiring connected to it to find out what failed.
