What E10 means on a AEG washer
The E10 error code on an AEG washer indicates that the machine failed to detect sufficient water entering the drum within the expected time window. The washer's control electronics monitor water inlet through a pressure sensor and air trap system. When the system does not register an adequate rise in water level after the fill valve is triggered, it halts the cycle and throws E10. This is a protective measure to prevent the machine from running dry and damaging internal components.
The most immediate causes are external: a closed water tap, a kinked inlet hose, or a clogged inlet filter screen. Beyond those, the water inlet valve itself may be failing to open due to a solenoid fault or interrupted wiring between the valve and the control board.
