ASKO Washer Error Code Pressure fault

The Pressure fault means the washer detected that the water level inside the drum dropped to zero within 30 seconds of the first rinse starting. This is monitored by a pressure sensor that tracks water level throughout the cycle. The machine stops operation when this happens to protect components from running without water. It most commonly points to a water leak or an unexpected draining event.

You should not continue running the washer until the fault is diagnosed. If there is an active water leak, continued use could cause water damage to your flooring, cabinetry, or the machine itself. The washer has stopped itself as a protective measure, and operating it before the issue is resolved risks worsening the problem.

Repair costs vary depending on which component is at fault. Replacing a door boot seal or pressure sensor hose is generally on the lower end of the cost range, typically between $50 and $150 for parts and labor. Replacing a drain pump, pressure switch, or inlet valve can run between $100 and $300 or more depending on labor rates in your area. Diagnosing the exact cause first will help you avoid unnecessary part replacements.

Start by checking for any visible leaks around the base, behind the machine, and at the door seal. If no leak is found, inspect the pressure sensor hose for kinks, cracks, or blockages. Also check whether the drain pump is activating at the wrong time. Depending on what you find, repairs may involve replacing the door boot seal, pressure switch, drain pump, or inlet valve.

A reset may clear the fault code temporarily, but the error will return as soon as the machine reaches the first rinse phase again if the underlying problem has not been fixed. Resetting without repairing the root cause is not a solution. The fault is triggered by a specific condition in the cycle, so it will repeat consistently until the cause is addressed.
