When the incoming line frequency drops below that rated value, the main electronics board registers the deviation and triggers the EB3 fault to prevent the appliance from operating under potentially damaging electrical conditions.

The main electronics board continuously monitors the incoming power supply characteristics, including both voltage and frequency.
