The AE3 code indicates a communication error between the DR Module and the main PBA (main control board). The main board is not detecting the expected signals from the DR Module. The washer will stop functioning normally until the communication issue is resolved.

It is not recommended to continue running the washer while the AE3 code is active. A communication failure between the DR Module and the main PBA can lead to uncontrolled or uncoordinated motor behavior. Running the machine in this state could cause further damage to components. The washer should remain unplugged until the issue is diagnosed and corrected.
