Washer is taking too long to fill

Washer is taking too long to fill — water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on, or water has disengaged the basket but control does not detect a water level change.

Check if water supply is connected and turned on, check hose screens for clogs, verify water is entering the tub, check pressure hose connection to machine/motor control. See TEST #2.

From Tech Sheet W11472420, p.32:

1.Check if water supply is connected and turned on, check hose screens for clogs, verify water is entering the tub, check pressure hose connection to machine/motor control. See TEST #2.

2.Measure the inlet valve coil resistance at the valve connector. Expected: 1,000 to 1,200 ohms per coil at room temperature.

3.Verify static water supply pressure at the inlet hose. Below 20 psi or fluctuating supply commonly triggers fill-timeout faults.
