The Sanitized LED will be lit when this code is active. The most common causes are a missing or loose drain pump cover and debris blocking the drain pump or jamming its impeller. Resolving the issue typically involves inspecting and securing the pump cover and clearing any blockages from the pump housing.

A reset will clear the displayed code temporarily, but the error will return if the underlying drain pump issue has not been resolved. The control board triggers E:25 because it cannot complete the drain cycle, so the fault will reappear the next time the dishwasher attempts to drain water. Fix the root cause first, then reset the machine to confirm normal operation.

If the fix is simply clearing debris or reseating the drain pump cover, the repair costs nothing beyond your time. A replacement drain pump cover part typically costs in the range of $10 to $30.
