Aqua sensor doesn't run during wash cycle; error code won't show during wash cycle. Caused by faulty harness, dirty aqua sensor, or faulty/missing aqua sensor.

Run test program to check error codes. Check continuity between aqua sensor and power module. Make sure aqua sensor is clean where it enters the sump. If connections are good and sensor is clean or missing, replace aqua sensor.

Aqua sensor doesn't run during wash cycle
From Service Manual 878944, p.36:
1.Run test program to check error codes. Check continuity between aqua sensor and power module. Make sure aqua sensor is clean where it enters the sump. If connections are good and sensor is clean or missing, replace aqua sensor.
2.Measure drain pump winding resistance at connector J7 on the main control. Expected: 12 to 16 ohms at room temperature.
3.Back-probe the pump driver output under load. Verify the board switches the pump at 120 VAC during the drain portion of the cycle.
