F7EA is a motor control lost phase fault, also displayed as F7E10. It means the Appliance Control Unit detected that one or more electrical phases to the drive motor were interrupted or missing. The washer will not complete a cycle until the underlying cause is identified and corrected.

Start by recycling power to the washer to rule out a transient fault. If the code returns, inspect the wiring harness and all connectors between the ACU and the drive motor for damage, corrosion, or loose pins. Follow TEST #1 and TEST #3: Motor Circuit to check continuity and motor winding resistance. Depending on the findings, the repair may involve replacing the harness, a connector, the motor, or the ACU.

Repair costs depend on which component has failed. Harness or connector repairs are typically the least expensive, often ranging from $50 to $150 including parts and labor.
