Pressing Start/Pause can resume washer operation after the fault is acknowledged, but this does not fix the underlying problem. If the root cause, such as a closed valve, blocked screen, or faulty sensor, is not resolved, the 4E code will return during the next fill cycle. Clearing the code without addressing the cause is only a temporary measure.
