The F71 error can be manually cleared, but it will return if the underlying communication failure is not fixed. Resetting the machine may temporarily clear the code, but cycles and the display will be disabled again as soon as the fault is detected. A reset is useful for confirming whether the issue is intermittent, but it is not a repair.
