It points to a fault in the circuit between the control board and the water inlet valve, which could be a loose connection, damaged wiring, or a failed component.

The F-50 code only appears in diagnostic test mode and relates specifically to the steam function of the dryer. If the steam feature is not working but standard drying cycles operate normally, the dryer can generally continue to be used for non-steam drying while you arrange for a repair. However, if you notice any other unusual behavior such as water leaks or electrical issues, stop using the unit until it has been inspected.
