Performing a reset by unplugging the washer for a few minutes may temporarily clear the 3E code, but if an underlying fault exists in the motor, speed sensor, or wiring, the error will return once the washer attempts to run again. A reset alone is not a fix. The root cause must be diagnosed and corrected for the fault to stay cleared.
