Maytag Washer Error Code OE
A fault is detected in the water level sensor
A fault is detected in the water level sensor. Data (frequency) shows the water level is at or above the overflow level. Machine will automatically begin pumping water out until it falls below the overflow level.

First check to see that water valve is not stuck. If water valve is OK, check water level sensor.

A fault is detected in the water level sensor
From Tech Sheet W14867969, p.21:
1.First check to see that water valve is not stuck. If water valve is OK, check water level sensor.
2.Measure drain pump winding resistance at connector J7 on the main control. Expected: 12 to 16 ohms at room temperature.
3.Back-probe the pump driver output under load. Verify the board switches the pump at 120 VAC during the drain portion of the cycle.
